2003 Vintage

From vines planted in 1998 on low yielding granitic soils at 700m, in a region not entirely sympathetic to Pinot Noir given the climatic profile of The Sothern Highlands and surrounds, this particular representation is fair given the circumstances. A touch watery on the palette, but nonetheless delivering within the cherry spectrum, this is a respectable representation of the varietal that would have further benefited from some more evolving nuances (14% Stelvin 89 points 21/4/11).
