A nice representation of Orange cool climate Sauvignon Blanc from boutique winemaker James Sweetapple. Massive gooseberry and very fragrant on the nose, but surprisingly austere on the palette and finishing quite dry. Overall, a pleasant local divergence from formulaic NZ savvy (Stelvin 89 points 11/3/10).
